Accessories — your questions answered
What are the MOQs for watersports accessories?
Factory-confirmed minimums: dry bags from 200 pcs, sublimated quick-dry towels from 300 pcs, beach and gear bags from 300–500 depending on style, phone pouches from 300 pcs, and small goods (key floats, straps, clips) from 500 pcs. Ordering alongside boards, apparel or gear in one programme can flex individual MOQs within total volume.
How fast can accessories be produced?
Sampling takes 1–2 weeks and production 20–30 days — the fastest category we handle. An accessories order placed today can typically be in Auckland or Sydney within 8–10 weeks including sea freight. Urgent towel or pouch top-ups can go air freight in 5–8 days.
Can accessories ship in the same container as our main order?
Yes, and they should — towels, dry bags and small goods fill the gaps around boards and cartons, so their effective freight cost is close to zero in a mixed container. Most customers combine accessories with at least one other category.
What print quality can we expect on towels?
Full-colour sublimation on microfibre reproduces photographic artwork with sharp detail. We send a printed strike-off for approval before bulk production, so what you approve is what you get.
Are the waterproof pouches actually waterproof?
Phone pouches are tested to IPX8 (submersion beyond 1 metre for 30 minutes). Each production batch is spot-tested for seal integrity during the pre-shipment inspection.
Can we order accessories as corporate or event merchandise?
Yes — swim schools, event organisers and corporate buyers regularly order branded towels, dry bags, coolers and small goods as merchandise or participant packs. Retail packaging is optional; bulk packing keeps cost down.
What dry bag material should we choose?
500D PVC tarpaulin is the classic heavy-duty option with a premium feel. 210D TPU ripstop is roughly 40% lighter and suits outdoor/adventure positioning. Both use welded seams; we can sample both so you can compare.
Do you offer recycled or eco materials for accessories?
Recycled-content microfibre towels and rPET tote bags are available, usually adding a small cost premium and about a week to sampling. Certification documents (GRS) can be provided where offered by the mill.
Can you inspect goods before shipment?
Yes. Third-party inspections and factory QC are available on every order. Pre-shipment checks include seam and weld tests on dry bags, sublimation colour checks on towels, and seal integrity on waterproof pouches. You receive an inspection report with photos before goods ship.
Can you ship directly to New Zealand and Australia?
Yes. FOB, CIF, DDP and destination delivery are supported. Sea freight to Auckland or Sydney takes 20–30 days port to port. Lightweight accessory top-ups (towels, pouches, small goods) can go air freight in 5–8 days.
