Watersports Gear — your questions answered

What are the MOQs for watersports gear?

Factory-confirmed minimums: wetsuits from 300 pcs, snorkel sets 500 pcs, inflatable kayaks 100 pcs, reef shoes 500 pairs, and neoprene gloves, hoods and socks from 300–500 pairs. Swim accessories (goggles, fins, kickboards) vary by item — we confirm exact MOQs in your quote. Ordering across categories in one programme can flex individual MOQs within total volume.

What neoprene do you use for wetsuits?

Standard lines use SBR/CR blend neoprene in 2mm–5mm. Premium lines use higher CR content with glued and blind-stitched (GBS) seams for warmth. We specify thickness, seam type and lining in your quote so you can compare like for like.

Can you produce rental-grade gear for tour operators?

Yes. Rental-grade means reinforced stress points, heavier zips, and colour-coded sizing so staff can grab the right size fast. We build this spec regularly for resorts and tour operators.

Do you supply certified life jackets or PFDs?

No. PFDs require AS/NZS 4758 certification and we only list products we can genuinely supply. If required, we are happy to recommend certified local suppliers.

Can I mix different products in one shipment?

Yes. Most customers combine wetsuits, snorkel sets, kayaks, reef shoes, neoprene gloves and hoods, and swim accessories into one mixed container — and add dry bags, towels and small goods from our Accessories range in the same shipment. One set of documents, one delivery, lower per-unit freight cost.

How long does sampling take for gear?

Around 2 weeks for most items from approved specs. Custom-panel wetsuits take about 3 weeks because patterns are cut fresh. Stock-design samples with your logo can often ship within a week.

Can you inspect goods before shipment?

Yes. Third-party inspections and factory QC are available on every order. Pre-shipment checks include AQL sampling on stitching, valve and seam pressure tests on inflatables, and lens/skirt checks on masks. You receive an inspection report with photos before goods ship.

Can you customise retail packaging?

Yes. Retail-ready packaging, hang tags, instruction manuals and branded cartons are available. Mask sets, wetsuits and kayaks can all ship in your box art, ready for shelf or rental fleet issue.

Can you develop custom products?

Yes. OEM and ODM services are available depending on MOQ — from branded snorkel sets and reef shoes to custom-panel wetsuits and kayak graphics. Send your brief or reference product and we build a tech pack before sampling.

Can you ship directly to New Zealand and Australia?

Yes. FOB, CIF, DDP and destination delivery are supported. Sea freight to Auckland or Sydney takes 20–30 days port to port. Urgent soft-goods top-ups (reef shoes, snorkel sets) can go air freight in 5–8 days.
